More free music that I forgot about!

So I cannot believe that I forgot about Viva Radio. It's hosted by American Apparel, so another hipster-y clothing company-fueled radio, but it's fun! It's a nice mix of retro music and some newer indie stuff. I have generally been using it as background music and it might be good for a chill party or something. :) Also nice if you're just browsing the internet or chilling in your room.

I've also been going through BandCamp, which is where the Beat Connection was hosted in my last post. BandCamp is this nifty idea where bands can put up their music and have it available for download (or just streaming) in various formats. One thing I really like about it is the option for bands to select 'name your own price'. So when you download it, you have the option of paying basically whatever you want from a set limit. It's almost like a donation. So if you like the band a lot, you could pay, say, $5 for a song and if you only kind of liked the band or were a cheapass, you could pay the base price of, say, ¢50. It's up to the consumer.
I was going to put all the little bands that I've found through BandCamp, but I think I'm gonna save that for a whole post of its own. That's how cool this website is.

Just a short post, but I had to share it. :) If anyone knows of anywhere else, please let me know! Also: any suggestions?
(FYI: For pictures, I generally collect them as I go and then post a bigger post with 'round ten pictures at once)
I'm also planning on going through DeviantArt and putting some stuff together from my favorite artists, so look forward to that!
